Public Course
Opened in 1995, Kapolei occupies 191 acres of former sugar cane lands at the southern end of the Waianae Mountains. Architect Ted Robinson, who is known for his creative use of water, moved massive amounts of dirt to create the lakes and to provide elevation and contouring for the course.
